Dr Rhema Otache MBChB BSc (First) is a Foundation doctor based in Greater Manchester. While her love of science drew her to medicine, her true passion lies in building communities and driving change through collaboration.

Through her work with BME Medics at the University of Liverpool, she experienced the power of collective action—leading initiatives such as the first Inequalities in Healthcare Conference, charity fundraisers like Beauty and Brews with Lush Liverpool, and the annual Culture Ball, celebrating diversity in medicine.

Now in practice, she continues to advocate for equity and innovation through her roles as a UKFPO Foundation Doctors Advisory Board Representative and North West Foundation Forum representative.

She is excited to be part of the launch of House of Medics Manchester and looks forward to building a vibrant, inclusive space where healthcare professionals can connect, create, and inspire one another.
